YKARCC Mobile Art Gallery
Visiting artist, Geneva L. Haley (she/they) is based in Treaty 7 Territory, Alberta, who's paintings we exhibited in our mobile art gallery at Folk on the Rocks 2025.
Geneva splits her time between painting and illustrating in her studio, Pastureland, and tattooing at Hemlock Tattoo Studio, which she co-owns.
Geneva’s work across these practices shares a common goal: to educate, highlight overlooked biodiversity, and spark deeper connection to the natural world. By bringing wildlife into people’s daily thoughts, she hopes to inspire curiosity, strengthen local relationships with ecosystems, and build community through the shared act of imagining climate futures.
We acknowledge and respect that we are in the Chief Drygeese territory. From time immemorial, it has been the traditional land of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation.
