Expressive Artists of Chief Jimmy
Bruneau School
March 10-17, 2018
Snowking's Snow Castle
Come check out the mural made by the Expressive Arts students of Behchoko's Chief Jimmy Bruneau School at Snowking's Snow Castle! A project Sponsored and Presented by YKARCC.
Over the course of just 4 short weeks, 4 hours total, students ages 13-18 have worked creatively, authentically, boldly, and collaboratively on a mural project. But more significant than the finished piece is the intention and the process behind the wall that you see. The focus on expressive arts values process and self-expression above a final finished product. And truly, when is a product ever really ‘finished’?

We acknowledge and respect that we live and work in Chief Drygeese territory. From time immemorial, it has been the traditional land of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation.
